Friday: Of Friday Nights Out

Today was the CeltSoc’s first music night. We went to Ma Cameron’s Pub and used their “Snug Room”. It was a huge success and we had a blast. Over 20 people showed up and there was a lot of laughing and music.

After that finished officially at 10, a chunk of us left Ma Cameron’s and went to Slain’s Castle (the pub, not the actual castle) for Phoenix’s birthday party. Maria, who attended both events, made a slight detour with me between the two events. We stopped at Marco’s where I bought another Fried Mars Bar and she tried some. It was as awesome as the first time.

As Slain’s I shocked people by taking a couple shots. I usually don’t drink any more – I don’t like the sly grin Mom gets when I talk about drinking – so when I went to the bar with Naomi I think everyone who knows me did a double take. The drinks were expensive and not all that good. However, it was what it was.

After Slain’s, I walked both Maria and Katie to their flats. I left the pub at 1:20-ish and only got home around 2:40. It boggles the mind how long I was walking.
