Monday: A More-Or-Less Uneventful Day

Today kind of sucked for me; I was in my room almost all day, fighting an essay (and losing).

I did get a text from Julia moving Tuesday’s supper at the last minute to serve her needs. This miffed me because I was the one who had to host it, and there was no consideration for me, who was being inconvenienced in the doing.

I did have an issue with Sam today: it was my turn to cook supper and at 5 to 6 I was answering the most instinctual call of human nature and he comes slamming into the flat going “I get home and am hungry; I want food now!” Now, we don’t normally eat before half six or seven o’clock, so I told him where to stuff it and made sure to take even longer than usual to cook. I did consult with Neo and Zax, and they found it annoying as well, so I feel justified in imagining smacking Sam with a rolling pin (I can’t, obviously, as we don’t have a rolling pin, but the imagery is very cathartic nonetheless).
