Sunday: The Day of Nothing but Books; and I Love My Friends

Nothing happened; we got used to Neo, and he to us. I spent a lot of time (and money) online buying books that I think will be of use to me in my program and my dissertation. All the books ended up being cheap (the most expensive was 9 Pounds, with most being less than 4), and the most I spent on shipping was 2.80 Pounds.

On the flip side, as it is the Thanksgiving holiday back in Canada, I didn’t want to spend the holiday alone. So, I invited the girls (Natalie, Carleigh, Maria, and Wibke) to join me for the holiday. All but Wibke joined me and we went to an Indian buffet. The food was incredible, but the company even more so. I really appreciated the company and the friendliness of the girls in ensuring I wasn’t completely by myself. Later on, I called my folks at Gran’s and spoke to Aunt Eileen, Gran, and the folks; then I called my brother for an interesting conversation.  Not a bad one, but it’s still weird that we can be pseudo-civil to each other.
