Thursday: Of Oddness that is I

Had the weirdest dream last night. Christopher, Gran, and I were walking in a parking lot in the evening, going to a get in a car we’d borrowed from our cousin, Randy – the one who I’ve never met – and as we walked along in the twilight, Christopher burst into song. And, instead of getting freaked out by this, Gran and I join in singing an a capella version of Wilson Philips’ “Hold On”. Scariest part of the dream? We sounded better than the original.

Despite being completely random, I know it’s because last night while writing my essay, I was talking online to Christopher and (Cousin) Cathy D-K for a few hours.

I completed writing my first essay for this degree. It was not the best essay I’ve ever produced, but the topic was one I couldn’t really connect to, so I’m not altogether surprised. I handed it in when I went to class, so it’s one less stress on my shoulders now.

Our lecturer today was interesting; we had to read some articles in preparation for class, but he ended up not knowing what we had to read and thus said we didn’t  actually need what was going on. Either way, the lecture was really interesting and I knew stuff about it, so life was good.
